Today was a real battle. I went out at 11:30 in 38° conditions under partly sunny skies (which became mostly cloudy during the ride), with a fresh 23 mph wind from the west-northwest to keep me from overheating. 😎
Puzzlingly, despite the temperature being several degrees over freezing, I got to enjoy some light snowflakes at the beginning of my ride, and then again at the very end.
Because of the weather, I opted for a modest ride, settling for a single round trip to Marsh Park. As it was, the stretches where I was riding into the wind were a Herculean task.
Anyway, I ended with 10.2 miles in 1:11, and felt like I had been in a boxing ring when I was done.
